Warren Oser, age 2, of Benson, North Carolina, climbed into the cab of his father’s pickup truck where found a loaded handgun. The sheriff’s office reported that “Oser was able to discharge the weapon, which resulted in injuries to himself.”  The toddler later died at the hospital.

“The death investigation is considered to be an unfortunate accident at this time. No one is facing charges as of Monday morning, but the investigation is ongoing.”
