Child Recovering After Accidental Shooting

A child accidentally shot at a residence in Fort Eustis in Newport News, Virginia, was taken to the hospital and is expected to fully recover. No other circumstances were reported. A public affairs officer with the Army Criminal Investigation Division in Quantico said, “[a]s this is an active investigation, we cannot release further details at this time.”
