14-year-old is Critically Injured in Unintentional Shooting
In a home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were playing video games and handling a gun, when the gun accidentally fired. The 14-year-old was struck in the abdomen and taken to the hospital in critical condition. The 16-year-old was arrested on multiple charges, including illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrumentalities, and illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile. The sheriff’s office says they are still investigating the incident, and indicate that more charges may be filed.
