A young child in Phoenix, Arizona was taken to the hospital in critical condition after shooting themselves with a gun they found in their home.  In Little Rock, Arkansas, a person on the street accidentally shot themselves in the leg, but their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

A Grand Rapids, Michigan man shot his gun into the air and was struck by a bullet in his thigh. He is also expected to survive.  Finally, a Remsen, New York hunter in a tree stand “lost control of his rifle and one round from a .22-caliber pistol entered his abdomen.”  [sic].
