Two People Killed in Gun Accidents Today

A seven-year-old boy was home alone with his sibling, when he was shot and killed with a loaded gun they found in their Winston-Salem, North Carolina home. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The children’s parents are cooperating with officials as they continue to investigate the incident.

And in Grand Prairie, Texas, the person in the driver’s seat of a vehicle was shot and killed by 19-year-old Alexander Chavez, who was sitting in the back seat. The vehicle was parked in front of a home when the shooting happened. Chavez initially fled the scene, but was later arrested and faces a charge of manslaughter.
