Man Shot Driving by Gas Station

A large gathering on a beach of around 2,000 young people escalated to a shooting that injured a man driving by a gas station in nearby West Haven, Connecticut. The man sustained minor injuries from glass or bullet fragments when a bullet came through his front windshield. A car with a mother and her children was also struck by gunfire, but no one was injured. Police arrested seven people in a vehicle they believe were involved in the shooting.
