15-year-old is Killed, and Two Others are Injured in Gun Accidents

In Fairmont, North Carolina, a 15-year-old was killed when the gun he was handling unintentionally fired. When police arrived at the home, they found the teen dead from a gunshot wound. Both the school district and police released statements expressing sadness about the tragic loss to the community and to the family.

Outside a bar in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, a man accidentally shot himself in the forearm while showing his handgun to someone. Police retrieved the gun, and say that multiple witness and security footage confirmed the circumstances of the incident.

And few details have been reported in the accidentally shooting of a 15-year-old in Atlanta, Georgia. The teen was taken to the hospital for treatment. It is not clear if the teen had possession of the gun or if any charges will be filed.
