Woman is Innocent Bystander Injured During Shooting at Mall

A mall in Arlington, Texas was evacuated after two people were injured by gunshots during an altercation between four teenagers. The teens were riding an escalator in the mall and arguing, when 17-year-old Careco Harris pulled out a gun. He didn’t fire the gun, but dropped it after hitting someone with it, and one of the other teens picked it up firing at Harris. He was struck in the arm, and a 38-year-old woman, who was an innocent bystander, was struck in the leg. Both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. All four of the teenagers have been arrested, and Harris has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

This was the second incident at a mall this week. No word on how a 17-year old got hold of a gun.
