Two Gun Accidents Involving Toddlers Leaves One Dead, the other in Critical Condition

In Corbin, Kentucky, a 3-year-old shot 2-year-old Milo Brooks in the head, killing him. The 3-year-old apparently retrieved a loaded gun that was on top of the refrigerator by crawling on a stool and a cabinet. The sheriff pleaded with parents to securely lock up their guns in a gun locker, or “…if you think that a child might be able to get to them, at least unload them.” It will be determined if any charges will be filed and the investigation into what happened is ongoing.

A 3-year-old is in critical condition in Victoria, Texas, after being accidentally shot in a moving vehicle. It is unclear if any charges will be filed.
