Adult Injury Child Injury (18 and Under) Child Under 18 (as Shooter) Illinois Juvenile Arrested No Charges Filed Tennessee

MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2022

A Memphis, Tennessee school was placed on lockdown after a 15-year-old accidentally discharged a weapon that he had brought to school.  According to the report, another student went to the school nurse with a gunshot wound to his leg.  The 15-year-old was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment.  Apparently, the incident did not result in early dismissal for other students.

Also today, a licensed gun owner in Oak Brook, Terrace, Illinois shot himself in the leg when he attempted to holster his gun while driving.  No other injuries were reported.
