A four-year old Dutton, Alabama boy accidentally shot and killed himself after apparently finding a loaded gun in an unspecified location.  He was airlifted to a hospital where he died of his wound.  No further information has been reported.

Andre Sharp, a 29-year old Dallas man, surrendered to authorities after unintentionally shooting and killing an 11-year old with .38 caliber revolver. According to the police department statement, “it was determined that the suspect had taken the gun out to show the victim and another witness at the location.  The suspect was pointing the gun at the witness and the victim and pulled the trigger each time he pointed the weapon.  The weapon did not go off when he pointed at the witness, but when he pointed it and pulled the trigger in the direction of the victim, the gun went off and shot the victim in the neck, causing his death.”
