At least 7 people unintentionally shot themselves or others with guns today in incidents across the country.

In Ellisville Mississippi, a man accidentally shot himself in the hand. The Sheriff’s Department said that the incident occurred in a community residence.

A Temple Hills, Maryland 16-year old is hospitalized after shooting himself accidentally at the local bus station.  His injuries are not considered life-threatening according to local police.

The Los Angeles, California Fire Department announced that a “victim” accidentally shot himself in the stomach.

In Pleasant Grove, Utah, two girls were injured by the same accidentally fired bullet.  They had been shot accidentally by a “friend.”

In Toledo Ohio, a “juvenile” was hospitalized after shooting himself while playing with a gun.  His condition is unknown.

Finally, in State College, Pennsylvania, a man shot himself in the leg while “manipulating” a gun in a vehicle, according to police. His injuries are not considered life-threatening. Police concluded that there was no “criminal aspect” to the incident.
