SATURDAY, JULY 24, 2021

A 6-year old child was killed and two teenagers were injured in accidental shootings today. Again, minimal details were reported.

The 6-year old, Charles Garza or Amroy, Mississippi, was killed in a gun accident in his home.  No details were reported other than that his father, Justin Garza, is a fire fighter. A Go-Fund-Me page has been set up to assist the family.  It states, in part, “Justin has been a fireman for many years and given countless hours to serve and protect our community. We are raising money to help the family with expenses during this difficult time.”

Although her injuries are not considered life-life threatening, a 14-year old Camden, South Carolina girl was airlifted to the hospital after an accidental shooting. A 16-year old boy is taking responsibility for the accident, but no details have been reported.

And a Dallas, Texas teen was critically injured in an incident in which he “unsafely” mishandled a gun.  No further information, including his precise age, was provided.
