Child Death (18 and Under) Ongoing Investigation Pennsylvania

SUNDAY, APRIL 5, 2020

In Chester, Pennsylvania, 7-year old Sinsir Parker was found dead after being hit by a “stray bullet” during an apparent drive-by shooting. He had been shot in the face and was discovered lying in the middle of the street. Police are investigating.

The report noted that the incident was the 14th homicide in Chester in 2020.

At a news conference Monday outside City Hall, Chester’s Mayor called the shooting “a demonic act” and said the community was “heartfelt saddened” by Parker’s death.

This gun accident closely parallels one that occurred just two days ago on April 3, in which a 7-year old Wisconsin boy was shot as a bystander to an argument.
