A Liberty County, Texas man was cleaning a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol when it accidentally fired and struck his 15-year old son in the lower back.  The boy was flown to a hospital in Houston and is expected to survive.  The gunshot was reported to have caused a “through and through wound.”
