Three Men Accidentally Shoot Themselves

Men in Illinois, California, and Virginia were injured today after they unintentionally shot themselves.

In Urbana, Illinois, 43-year-old Errol Troutman was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound that was accidentally self-inflicted. He was charged with unlawful use of a weapon. 

In Long Beach, California, a man was treated for minor injuries after he fired a gun inside a home. The man was charged with negligent discharge of a firearm, exhibiting a firearm, and vandalism. Police are investigating.

And in Alexandria, Virginia, a 66-year-old man told police that he was home alone when 
he “accidentally” shot himself in the hand. He taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
