12-year-old in Stable Condition After Being Shot

In Indianapolis, Indiana, a 12-year-old was hospitalized after being shot in the leg, in what was described as an “accidental gunshot incident.” The child was taken to the hospital in stable condition. A 14-year-old, and 50-year-old Demarcus Jackson, were taken into custody. Jackson was charged with neglect of a dependent, the 14-year-old with possession of a firearm. The circumstances of the shooting were not reported.
