Toddler and Teen Hurt After Unintentionally Shooting Themselves
A 17-year-old inside a car in Huntsville, Alabama, was injured when the gun he had with him unintentionally fired. The teen’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, but no other information about the incident was reported.
And a two-year-old boy in Nashville, Tennessee, is in stable condition and is expected to recover, after he apparently shot himself in the chest with an unsecured gun. People who were there told detectives they believe the toddler found the loaded gun in the living room. After the shooting, the gun’s owner took the pistol and left. The weapon has not been recovered, and the incident remains under investigation.
