Woman Critically Wounded After Being Shot in Head

A woman is in critical condition after being accidentally shot in the head by 21-year-old Jovany Hernandez, at a small get-together in Buhl, Alabama. People there were drinking and firing guns, and Hernandez was seen at times to be “pulling” a pistol playfully. Witnesses believed that he did not intend to shoot the victim, as there was no prior disagreement between the two of them; Hernandez said that he thought his weapon was not loaded. He has been charged with first-degree assault.
