Toddlers Shoot Themselves in Two Separate Gun Accidents

A two-year-old boy in Harvey, Louisiana, shot himself with a gun he found in his uncle’s home. The boy is expected to survive. His uncle, 29-year-old Cedric Johnson, was arrested on multiple charges including cruelty to a juvenile, obstruction of justice, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 

And a three-year-old boy shot himself in the chest with a gun he found inside a home in Poinciana, Florida. Family members, including children, were home at the time. The boy was airlifted to the hospital and is in stable condition. The sheriff indicated that possible charges are being considered in the case.
