Accidental Shootings Injure Two People in South Carolina

Four juveniles had gathered at a trail in Blythewood, South Carolina to shoot guns, when one of them was accidentally shot in the chest. A witness said two of the juveniles brought guns, and they were all taking turns shooting. The victim was fighting over a gun with another youth when it fired. The victim was taken to the hospital, but his condition was not reported. The sheriff’s department continues to investigate.

And in Georgetown, South Carolina, a deer hunter was hit by a single buckshot pellet, when the hunter he was with fired in his direction. He was treated at the hospital and released. There is an ongoing investigation.
