Infant Killed, and 4-year-old Injured in Unintentional Shootings

A 1-year-old girl died at the hospital after being accidentally shot in a residence in Knox City, Texas. It is unclear how the infant was shot, and at least one other child has been taken into the custody of child protective services. The Texas Rangers are assisting local law enforcement in the investigation.

And a 4-year-old girl was visiting family in a home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when she was accidentally shot. According to police, it appears that she found a gun that belonged to a relative that lived at the residence, and she shot herself while handling it. Three adults were present at the time of the incident and are cooperating with police in the investigation.
