Three Injured in Accidental Shootings, Two Shot Themselves

A man drove to another man’s home to confront him in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The altercation escalated, and the man who drove there pulled out a gun and unintentionally shot himself in the hand and the other man in the foot. Both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating the incident.

During an open house at an elementary school in St. Paul, Minnesota, a 30-year-old was playing basketball in the gym when the gun he was carrying on his body accidentally discharged hitting him in the leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. He reportedly had a valid permit to carry a firearm. “Firearms are not allowed on any Saint Paul Public Schools property,” said a statement released by the school. The incident is under investigation.
