Two Georgia Children and a Coyote Hunter Injured in Accidental Shootings

A 7-year-old boy in Macon, Georgia, thought a .22-caliber handgun was an air-soft gun and accidentally shot his 12-year-old sister. The sister is recovering in the hospital. The incident is under investigation and it is unclear if anyone will be charged.

Few details have been reported after a 5-year-old shot themself in Augusta, Georgia. The child was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two people were hunting coyote in Enoree, South Carolina. One hunter accidentally shot the other with a shotgun. The victim was shot in the hand and chest and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
