Three Unintentional Shootings Leave One Woman Dead, Three Others Injured

In a Glendale, Arizona shopping mall, a man received minor injuries when a gun unintentionally fired inside one of the stores. Police haven’t yet located the person who discharged the gun, and few other details have been reported.

In a residence in Fresno, California, a group of people were drinking when one of them started playing with a gun that accidentally fired, critically injuring a teenage boy. A fight broke out because of the shooting, and the victim’s brother fought with officers before they took him into custody. As a result, three officers were also checked out at the hospital. The gun was not located at the scene and police have not said who fired it.

A 29-year-old woman in Akron, Ohio, was pronounced dead at the hospital after being accidentally shot in a car. The woman was driving the car with 31-year-old Denzel Ayers and one other person. Ayers was in the back seat handling a loaded gun that went off, grazing his leg before fatally striking the woman. He remained at the scene and was charged with negligent homicide and weapons while intoxicated. Police are continuing to investigate.
