Multiple Accidental Shootings Today Involving Children

An accidental shooting in Cleveland, Ohio, resulted in an injured 19-month-old taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound. Few details have been reported, but the child is in stable condition and a 26-year-old man was charged with child endangerment.

In Mankato, Minnesota a 7-year-old boy was shot in the leg in an apparent accidental shooting. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police are actively investigating and said that all people involved are being cooperative.

And in Rollin Township, Michigan, Kirt Stubbins, 41, was hunting when he was shot and killed by a relative. Because the suspected shooter is a minor, the sheriff’s office is not releasing any other information in this ongoing investigation.
