One Killed, Two Injured in Gun Accidents

David Shane Nance, 46, was killed in what appears to be an accidental shooting at a makeshift gun range in Mooresville, North Carolina. The suspected shooter and the victim knew each other. The suspect called 911 and is cooperating with deputies in their investigation. Few details are reported, as authorities wait for the autopsy report to determine what led up to the incident.

A teen in Urbana, North Dakota, was shot in the foot during a hunting accident. The 19-year-old was shot with a 12-gauge shotgun and taken to the hospital for treatment.

And a 4-year-old girl in San Antonio, Texas, is in stable condition after being grazed by a bullet from a gun her grandfather was cleaning. The grandfather had returned from a shooting range and was cleaning his gun, when it unintentionally discharged causing a superficial wound to the girl’s head. No additional information has been released.
