Young Boy Accidentally Shot Outside Restaurant

A young boy in Thibodaux, Louisiana, was accidentally shot outside the restaurant where he, and two adults he was with, had just eaten. He was shot in the hip and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Employees of the restaurant said that didn’t hear any gunshots or arguments, and only learned of the incident when police arrived. The chief of police believes that a gun was fired some distance away and are further investigating.
