Two Teens Injured in Gun Accidents

In Fortuna, California, a 17-year-old boy is in stable condition at the hospital after accidentally shooting himself. Investigators recovered a 9mm handgun under the teen’s mattress with a spent casing jammed in the slide.

A 14-year-old was accidentally shot when they, and a 17-year-old male, attempted to rob someone at gunpoint in Indianapolis, Indiana. Police believe the two struggled over the gun and the 14-year-old was shot. Police arrested the 17-year-old for robbery as they continue to investigate.
