Police released video showing at least four people firing multiple rounds in the gunfire that erupted outside. The motive for the shooting is unknown, as police search for those involved. ShaiAnn was released from the hospital and is recovering at home. “When we had first went there, they was like you know, ‘There’s a chance she might not be able to walk.’ But she proved everybody wrong. [s]he’s a tough cookie!” said her mother.

In Columbus, Ohio, a 13-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being accidentally shot. He is expected to survive as detectives continue to investigate.

And in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Cung Hlei Mang, a 19-year-old, was sitting in the backseat of a vehicle manipulating a gun that unintentionally went off.
