In Motley, Minnesota, Jeremy Her, a 12-year old  boy, was unintentionally shot and killed by his uncle while squirrel hunting on public land. He was airlifted to a local hospital but did not survive. According to a Go Fund Me page, the boy was struck in the spinal cord.
