In Houston, Texas, 17-year old Dominque McCoy was unintentionally shot and killed today.  According to authorities, he was shot by another 17-year old, Reginald Smalls, who says he was startled by McCoy and was firing in self-defense.  Smalls has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.  It is not clear how Smalls got a gun.
