A six-year old a 12-year old are dead today after finding loaded guns in their homes. 

The six-year old died in Fort Collins, Colorado after arriving at the hospital. “Tragic events like this have a lasting impact on everyone involved, including family, friends, and first responders. Words cannot begin to express the depth of our condolences for this devastating loss of a young life,” said the local Police Chief. “We will provide an update at the conclusion of the investigation. In the meantime, please keep everyone who’s grieving in your thoughts and prayers.”

The police later arrested the parents of the boy, Roy Summers. Roy’s mother, Rosinetta Mackall, 40 is accused of leaving an unsecured weapon where her child could access it. Ron Matthews, Mackall’s husband is accused of misleading police.

The 12-year old died in Columbus, Georgia after being left alone with a younger brother while their mom went to get a tattoo.  “The most devastating part of the whole ordeal was watching them bring that baby out in a body bag,” a neighbor said. “It just… it tears you up.”
