MONDAY, JANUARY 24, 2022

In Atlanta, Georgia, a 6-month old child was killed in the crossfire of an incident in which two people were shooting at each other outside a local Food Mart.  A bullet fired on the street passed into the car where the child was strapped into the back seat.  According to a report, the death of Grayson Fleming-Gray was the third shooting of a child in Atlanta already this year.

Georgia’s Governor said afterward:  “Our hearts are broken for the loss of this innocent child. We mourn this unfathomable tragedy tonight with the family. Please join us in keeping them in your hearts & prayers. This kind of lawlessness must end, & these criminals must be held accountable.”

No suspects are in custody.
