In Columbus, Nebraska, two people were injured when a dog in a pick-up truck discharged a shotgun that had been left unattended in the back seat.  The shotgun had previously jammed, according to authorities.  Two people were struck as they exited a nearby business. Another vehicle was also damaged.

In Oakwood, Georgia, a teenager accidentally fired a gun and injured himself while ordering a meal at a local drive-thru.  According to the report, he was reaching into his pocket while attempting to pay for his order when the gun went off.  Local police are considering charges.
