Two children were injured today in gun accidents.

In Chester, Pennsylvania, an 11-month old girl was struck in the head when a gun fell off a table and discharged.  She is listed in fair condition at the hospital, but is expected to survive.  The reporting did not include information about the gun involved in the incident in order to determine if it is one of the models with a known propensity to fire when dropped.

In St. Louis, Missouri, a ten-year old child found a gun while playing with his 7-year old brother.  The gun went off while the 10-year old was holding it and the younger boy was struck in the face.  He is expected to survive.
