Adult Injury Child Injury (18 and Under) Idaho Kentucky Ongoing Investigation Pennsylvania

A Hopkinsville, Kentucky 15-year old was critically injured in a gun accident today.  He was hospitalized locally with critical injuries, but was expected to be transferred by helicopter to Nashville for further treatment.  No details of the circumstances of the accident were released.

In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a city riven by recent gun violence, a 12-year old boy accidentally shot himself in the leg on the front steps of his home. Police found a blood trail from the steps to an upstairs bedroom. The boy is in stable condition at the hospital.

And in Chubbuck, Idaho, a man shot himself in the leg in his car while sitting in a Sherwin-Williams paint store parking lot. His handgun accidentally discharged.  He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
