In Detroit, Michigan, three children found a loaded gun in their home.  One of them pulled the trigger and accidentally shot and killed a 12-year old boy. The victim’s twin and a 13-year old cousin were present at the time of the accident, but it is unclear who pulled the trigger. No adults were present in the home at the time.

This incident was at least the third in which a Detroit child was shot in less than a week.
