Adult Injury Indiana No Charges Filed

Indianapolis, Indiana police officers working part-time at Sam’s Club responded when they heard a shot fired inside the store.  An armed shopper had accidentally discharged a gun and hit a store employee. The employee was grazed by the bullet and was hospitalized after the shooting in stable condition.

The customer was not being charged with a crime, a police spokesperson said. It was not immediately known if Sam’s Club allows weapons inside the store.  Nor were the circumstances in which the gun was accidentally fired reported.

Officers were working part-time at Sam’s Club when the shooting happened, Young said.
