James Kenneth Lindquester, a Beaverton, Oregon three-year old, found a gun in his home and shot himself in the head.  According to authorities, the loaded gun was in a bedside table.  James was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

In Hemet California, a 75-year old woman was accidentally shot and killed by her caregiver as he was dismantling a gun.  She also died at the hospital. Her caregiver was arrested on various charges including possession of a loaded firearm while under the influence.
