11-year old Cash Cover of Kamas, Utah, apparently found a gun in his home.  Although details of the incident are scarce, he shot himself in the chest and later died of his wounds. Cash “lost his life in a tragic accident involving a gun,” the family said in a statement.

“Our hearts are broken, and we mourn with the family of the little boy,” said the sheriff’s office in a statement. “Hug your loved ones often, keep them near and tell them you love them.”
