Few details were reported about three incidents in which people were shot and injured in gun accidents today.

In Auburn, Alabama a young person was flown to the hospital and is in stable condition after being accidentally shot at an apartment complex.  The child’s age and the circumstances of the accident were not reported.

In Wilmington, Delaware a 17-year old accidentally shot herself according to local authorities.  No other details of the incident were reported.

And a woman in Orangeburg, South Carolina was shot accidentally by a 17-year old who was playing with a gun.  The woman was standing near a car while the 17-year-old was inside. He allegedly pointed a loaded weapon at her in a playful manner and the gun discharged.  According to the report, the woman did not know the boy.  He fled the scene after the incident.

There are ongoing investigations of each incident.
