SUNDAY, MAY 3, 2020

Two-year old, Chevy Carroll, an Elizabethtown, Kentucky boy, was shot and killed today. The child was home with both parents and two young siblings at the time he was shot. Few other circumstances of the shooting are available at this time.

“So this is going to be a challenging investigation, but one that we want to get right,” according to a police representative. “So it is going to be thorough. We are going to do our best to make the right determination on whether or not there should be any criminal charges.”

The officer also stated, “[j]ust the fact a 2-year-old has died well before his time is a great loss. Obviously the family is mourning the loss of their precious child and our hearts are broken with them.”

“You’re just in shock from one day to the next day,” the boy’s uncle said. “The day before I remember him playing and pulling his brothers around in a wagon. They were just giggling, being little kids.”
