In Brownstown, Indiana, a police investigation has determined that a shot was accidentally fired by a man who was handling a handgun in the living room of his home.  A bullet from the gun went through the man’s leg and then entered the leg of his 5-year old son.

The man was treated and released.  The boy remained hospitalized for further treatment.  An investigation is ongoing.
