A 15-year old in Houston, Texas turned himself in to police after accidentally shooting his 5-year old sister in the stomach.  The accident occurred while his parents were asleep.  The boy panicked and ran from the home when his parents woke up to the sound of the gunshot.

The 5-year old was rushed to a trauma center in critical condition. She reportedly told police that her brother shot her by accident, though the circumstances of the accident remain unclear.   The 15-year old was charged with reckless aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
