Arkansas Child Injury (18 and Under) No Charges Filed

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2019

In a hunting accident in Lonoke County, Arkansas, a 13-year old boy underwent surgery after he was shot in the arm while handing his stepmother a gun as she was getting into a deer stand.  Trey Reid, a spokesperson for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said, “[i]ts disappointing. Folks weren’t following the proper safety procedures while hunting and unfortunately paid the price for it.”
