Two Children Injured After Father’s Gun Discharges While Cleaning

In Winter Garden, Florida, Deputy Austin Ritchey was off duty and cleaning his personal firearm, when it fired one round injuring two of his children. One child was wounded by the gunshot, the other was injured by shrapnel. Both children were taken to the hospital and later released. The shooting is being investigated.
