Gun Accidents Injure Two People

A boy accidentally shot himself on a street in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana. He was taken to the hospital for the treatment of at least one bullet wound. The circumstances of the shooting were not reported.

And in Altoona, Pennsylvania, a newly purchased shotgun accidentally discharged during a struggle between several people who were handling it. Two people suffered minor injuries from ricocheting buckshot. Police have identified a suspect, and are considering possible charges.
