Teenager Shot With Gun Thought To Be Unloaded
In a home in Clinton, Iowa, a 15-year-old boy was injured when the gun that 23-year-old Caleb Davis pointed at him, fired. The boy’s current condition was not reported. Davis told police that he and people in the home routinely “dry fired” guns at one another, and thought the gun was unloaded, since he took out the magazine and had checked the chamber. He has been charged with reckless use of a firearm and assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.
