Four People Injured After Gun Discharges Inside Grocery Store
Multiple people were injured when a gun went off at a grocery store in Bonaire, Georgia. The firearm was in a customer’s pocket. When they went to retrieve something else from that pocket, the gun fired into the floor, sending fragments flying that injured four adults.
One of the customers and her daughter were struck with fragments. “It’s probably about six places on her leg, I’d say just in the back of her leg. I had some in the front of my thighs and on my knees.” Three people were treated at the scene, the fourth person was more seriously wounded and taken to the hospital for surgery. There is an ongoing investigation into the incident.
